How does tacfit commando work

I am interested in some aspects of both programs. How are they different? My interest is for general fitness and martial arts.

Hi I am interested in buying tacfit commando and wondered whether it contains the same material as the Prasara Primer. If you can be a little more specific, I may be able to help you further. Hi Thanks for your quick reply. I have looked everywhere to see what is in the tacfit commando — still not sure what is in it. Also last question do you know the difference between the basic and deluxe version — money is tight.

The Prasara Primer is a flow-based yoga program. It also has elements of prasara yoga and intuflow joint mobility, among other things. The major difference between the basic and deluxe, is that the deluxe version comes with Follow-Along workout videos. These are not included in the basic edition. Of course, if you have any further questions, just let me know. Hi John, so just looking at the master calendar, where do I find the instruction for the no-intensity and low-intensity days?

Am I missing something? The no-intensity day is when you should be doing your Intu-Flow joint mobility exercises, and the low-intensity day is for your Prasara yoga. Just to set a good foundation since these movements are novel to me , I decided to start for a month of Mission 1- Recruit. Would it be Mission 1- Grunt, or Mission 2-Recruit?

Seems like staying within the same mission, but going up a level, allows one to benefit from the increasing complexity of the drills from one level to the next. Changing Missions seems to change to fairly different movements. It depends on your long-term goals. Just know that you risk the chance of over-training and over-specializing in those specific movement patterns. On the other hand, if you plan on following this program for longer than 3 months, then I would definitely recommend going through each mission at recruit level, and then restart the first mission at grunt level after the third cycle.

Your call. If this is true, why? Good question, and I have a strong opinion on this one. I think bodyweight training really shines when it comes to lower body strength and conditioning, and TACFIT Commando will be a good example of this. Every TACFIT Commando workout is a full body conditioning session that will absolutely challenge the legs — just try out the alternating plyometric lunges from the first cycle if you doubt it!

Secondly, here is a brief description of how version 2. Ann 21 Jul Reply. John 21 Jul Reply. Stephanie 27 Jul Reply. I absolutely cannot purchase it as the normal price : Thanks! John 27 Jul Reply. Hi Stephanie, Sorry to hear that you missed out on the sale. The second component will help you organize the program and follow it consistently to get the best results possible.

Also, an included Prasara yoga instructional video will teach you how to increase your joint mobility and boost your muscle AND injury recovery.

You will learn some unique breathing techniques that the Russians kept away from the public for a very long time. One specific 1-minute long routine is said to have an unimaginable impact compared to how simple and short it is. Scott Sonnon says it, not me. With a unique training regimen comes a unique nutrition plan. Also, no need for extra cooking — the whole family can enjoy the same delightful meals.

Here, Scott will give you a sneak peek of how his training looks in real life situations, with some of his top class students whose lives depend on that training. So, even though it can be brutally hard, the beginner level recruit routine will work for anyone who is healthy enough to exercise.

Which leads me to my last point. It sounds too good to be true, and the package that Scott and Ryan are offering truly is outstanding. These guys are in the habit of over-delivering when they release something to the public, and this is no different. Firstly it's quite expensive. But if you actually do it - it's great value.

On the plus side, I really liked the programme, as a coach it's well structured, well delivered and well explained - always a good sign. Importantly, focusing on real world movements stressing lateral and rotational movement as well as more conventional movements.

This is also quite important as it will help address many of the imbalances and aches and pains experienced by your typical western European. As a culture we sit down to much and move around to little. I also like the incorporation of different intensities in training with a strong foundation of mobilisation in work outs. Great job on that part Mr Sonnon. The programme contains lots of pushing and rotation but no pulling movements at all. The downside for me is the marketing.

I think this is an intelligent and truly unique programme that has clearly been well thought out. But the stress on all things military undermines a quality programme with cliched marketing that takes away from what is in effect some very smart programming. A lot of professional trainers I have spoken with use Scotts stuff but wont attribute it due to the overhyped marketing and not wanting to be associated with it — interesting….

Bottom line — would I spend my own hard earned cash? I loved the programming, the exercises and the emphasise on active recovery — in fact so much I ran the sessions in my own conditioning class. I loved the drama of the backing track — it was great and the evoloutions were great — highly recommended. And there is countless research emerging about the value of complex neural movements and their benefit in terms of strength, performance and athletic longevity. In short Tacfit could, in my view at least, help you perform better, avoid injury, develop functional power on top of the usual benefits associated with training.

Shame about the cheesy advertising though….
