Escaping one of Victoria's colder cities became a must, before I went totally mad! Mantra on Cavill was a fabulous change and we loved being right in the heart of Surfers and on the 40th floor. It was so easy and cheap to get to by bus and tram. Lots to do in the immediate area- the beach, walks, river cruises, whale watching, restaurants, and you could shop until you dropped.

The room was huge with everything one needed for an escape and views to die for. The only thing I would say is the furniture looks a bit tired- chipped coffee table and paint off the skirting boards- could be a bit posher sorry, I couldn't help noticing. One of the pools was out of action- shame- but to be fair there were two alternatives, and the beach!

After reading some not to great reviews of the apartment being not so well maintained, we were pleasantly surprised! Fresh towels everyday! Our hob didn't work and we called maintenance - it was repaired the very next day. We were out most of the time so, it was not a problem at all! Parking did not prove to be TOO much of a nuisance - we had to make a few rounds to get to the available parking lots but really, it was not a problem!

If you're travelling with kids between , it's great that you have a supermarket at your doorstep! It's about 5 mins walk to the beach and that was fantastic!

Mantra Circle was a better choice if you want the convenience of everything nearby. My family really enjoyed our stay at Mantra Circle on Cavill. The room was lovely and modern with awesome views of Surfers, including a great river view from the kids room. We did have an issue with a window that wouldn't seal tight, but after leaving a note for the maintenance team, it was fixed the same day.

The location was close to woolworths, chemist, bowling and an array if restaurants. It was also a short walk to surfers paradise which made the trip a lot more enjoyable as we didn't have to spend ages finding parking. My stay was pleasant and definitely an awesome holiday. Hotel was located in the heart of Surfers Paradise and walking distance to malls and the beach. Tram and buses are nearby to travel to the theme parks and other shopping malls located outside of Surfers Paradise. Apartment view was breathtaking and the room cleanliness was well maintained. Love our stay in Mantra on Cavill. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, the view of Gold Coast Hinterland, free parking for 1 car. Soak in the whirlpool spa bath while enjoying the Hinterland view. The kitchen equipment is more complete than the bathroom amenities no tooth brush was given too. Excellent location with perfect room but not good management. There are hotels that really thought about their guest's needs.

All of the negetive comments on this hotel made me worried at first but as soon as we reached the hotel we encounter no major problems!

The staff were very polite and friendly not to mentioned very efficient too. Just a call from our room and they are at our doors in minutes! Apartment was huge! Super huge that it can actually accomodate more people.. Bookings for the activities can be done at the lobby reception and that made our trip a whole lot easier.

We travelled with our 4-year old daughter and the Mantra Circle on Cavill was pretty much perfect for our stay. The hotel is also located just above Cavill Circle shopping area, so dining was literally at our doorstep. It's in a central location, has a Woolworths shop plus other restaurants and pharmacy right next to it, and the apartments are very spacious. It has great views and I'd definitely stay there again.
