Where is nimbus rock in lego universe
Is the person Damon tapped on the shoulder me? If so, I'm in Avant Gardens. Also, Dual Matrix, please don't say anything too definite about the Venture Explorer, I'm waiting for moderator approval. The locations section isn't clear about whether or not we can actually go there. IC Damon Vankorov.
Mind sharing some thea with me? This thea was the only reminder he'd left from those days. OOC : Alrighty, so I updated with the character list. Hopefully I'll keep that a regular occurrence. Probably won't, but worth a shot. Also, I assumed Ness is a Veteran, Jacks.
We decided against time travel for casual use. There is always the possibility for a mission involving time travel, but at this time, it has been disabled. Alissa Kahn charged her wrench and quickly repaired her damaged turret guarding the perimeter of Nexus Tower. Once again, a group of nearly twenty Stromlings were charging toward the building in a futile attempt to break through. Basic Stromling Invaders with two Stromling Admirals leading them.
Nothing she couldn't take care of. The turret sparked to life and fire rapidly upon the Stromling horde. A piece of cake. The Maelstrom's foot soldiers dropped one by one. Alissa rolled her eyes. Pathetic, really. They were perfectly okay with charging blindly toward a heavily fortified tower without any sort of strategy.
She shrugged as she began to construct another turret to guard the tower from a box of pieces nearby. Guarding the tower was a relatively easy duty, but a boring one. Only the most brain-dead and weakest Stromlings made an attempt at the tower. They managed enough brain capacity to get together and attack in numbers, but that was about it. As she finished the turret, Alissa's radio in her helmet crackled to life.
Are you there? There was groan. She scanned the area and quickly saw the "anomalies": Two hulking Stromling Apes with three minifig Stromlings around them. Alissa gritted her teeth together and charged her wrench.
Jacob was near the Nexus tower, he was investigating the surrounding area, when he noticed a group of Malestrom forces approaching the tower, he also saw a Assembly engineer, and thought, "Probably should head over to help, its not like a turret or so will be able to hold for too long.
Grace only sighed at Blake's childish antics as the Engineer happily did loop-de-loops, barrel rolls, U-turns, spins, and just about whatever else he could think of on the way to Crux Prime. Blake brought the craft to about feet from the surface, and flipped it so Grace could fire at the Stromlings below. The Buccaneer did so, and it didn't take long for the rocket to gain a large crowd of Maelstrom Beings following behind it. Having averted pulling a crowd of Maelstrom to the Tower, Blake was free.
He landed, and spoke, turning as he did. Grace had been ripped from her seat by the turn, because her seat wasn't designed to withstand the G-forces as well. Getting up, the Buccaneer immediately began to run, making distance from her crash-landing point.
Maelstrom would be about soon, to investigate what had fallen from the rocket. Black said with a chuckle, "And its pronounced Tea, not Thea. RIght now, we are waiting for more troops. The Explorer is quite dangerous, I doubt two people will be enough. Black rose his gun hand at him. Matt ran over and asked Black's friend his name. Okay, my first RPG--hopefully I won't crash and burn. Let's see now Where'd he purchase that?
Bio: When Jedediah was first recruited to the Nexus Force, he was nothing much more extraordinary than a promising young Daredevil with an optimistic outlook, an outgoing attitude, and a supercharged sense of humor. Oh, and that badly edited-in black thing in the picture is a duster. Just in case you can't tell. He's especially good with Earth and Fire, not so much with the others. BIO: There's no denying Aaron likes the finer things in life. He can often be found buffing scratches out of his armor, and takes great pride in his ordinate helmet and swords.
Yet, for all his foppishness and seemingly shallow attitude, Aaron is a loyal companion and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out a friend in need. She's generally very calm, level headed, and friendly, and tries her best to keep it like that, because when she gets angry, she doesn't go halfway! She's particularly troubled by Jed's change of attitude, since the two of them had something of a romance for several years.
It was really more of a flirtation than anything concrete, though, and ever since the incident with that other Sorcerer, things between them are less certain than ever BIO: Not much to say here. Percival is just a very proper British gentleman, if your definition of "proper British gentleman" includes "enjoys dismembering Stromlings with a super-powered chainsaw".
If it doesn't, he'll probably just call you a narrow-minded twat IC: Reaper swore under his breath as he glared at the thick, sticky sheet of Maelstrom Spider webbing that blocked the only path. He glanced behind him, at the path that wound away between two vast, jagged slabs of rock.
There was no point backtracking, he decided. He'd had a funny feeling, like he was being watched, for much of his trip, and didn't particularly feel like strolling into an ambush. Then he gazed up, examining the cliffs themselves, which seemed to rise up forever on either side. After about forty feet up he stopped to rest--he didn't want to exhaust himself when he still had at least a hundred more feet to scale.
That was when he heard it--a nasty, chitinous-sounding clicking. Peering down over his shoulder, Reaper saw what was unmistakably an Elite Dark Spiderling standing at the base of the cliff, looking curiously up at him. Realizing it had been spotted, the monster began to skitter up the wall toward him with alarming speed.
IC: Sonyaxe grinned wolfishly. Inwardly, though, he sighed. People always figured that summoners stayed away from the middle of a fight, but it was practical, although he didnt like it. But summoning was still fun. He quickly summoned a quartet of living turrets and two practically indestructible imagination ogres, watching contededly as they started blowing holes in the Mealstorm lines.
I am going onto the Venture Explorer. If anyone is free or wants to come, please come aboard. Dual Matrix, could you bring an NPC? Black's friend identified himself as Damon Vakorov. Black ran over to the launchpad, waved to his comrades and pulled out his rocket. He soared through the air to the Venture Explorer and came through one of the port holes.
Black got out of his rocket and said hello to Epsilon Starcracker. Black looked around to monitor the situation. IC: Grace Aura Mar. Grace was muttering under her breath, even as she ran, jumped, and leaped her way across Crux Prime.
On occasion, she would leap over a Stromling, which would receive a nice cannon pistol blast, to the head. Just as she leapt over the tip of a spire, which abruptly led down into a canyon, the Buccaneer found what looked to be a skeletal Daredevil climbing the cliff, with an Elite Dark Spiderling right behind him.
Caught off guard by the sudden drop, Grace only had time to pull out her cutlass and drive it into the rock, stopping her. OOC: That'd be Reaper. Also, I'm in support for the 'Tier' thing. But after some time he became surrounded by three Evil Mealstorm spiders. Dual Matrix, that would be good. Also, avmatoran, when your characters transformation is complete, you can come up to the Explorer. Black laughed and said to Matt, "Summon a Thwok, over their.
The Thwok did it's work and drew the Elite Dark Spiders over to it. Black said, "Time to test out my arm. Black and Matt jumped down to Damon. Matt said, "It's dangerous here. We should work on clearing one are first. Perhaps the entry ports? He was climbing as fast as he could, but the Spiderling was made for just this sort of pursuit, and his lead was diminishing by the second.
Hasn't even bothered to use its guns on me, he thought. Guess it thinks I'm easy prey. I'll just have to make it rethink its assessment.
That, though, would be easier said than done. Reaper knew that if he stopped to draw a pistol, his pursuer would close the gap in a heartbeat. He was out of options. Just then, something dropped from the head of the cliff. Not something--some one , he realized, as the figure jerked to a halt several yards away on the cliff face. She looks familiar, he thought absently. Grace something-or-other. I think. More importantly, her sudden appearance had provided just what he needed--a distraction.
As the Spiderling paused to examine the new arrival, Reaper whipped out a pistol and sent a barrage of five energy slugs down at his adversary. Four found their target, and the erstwhile Spiderling tumbled down the cliffside, landing at the bottom with a nasty crunch.

Having your character once be apart of the Alpha Team or Space Police before joining the Nexus Force is fun, but bringing in a fleet of Space Police ships and so on is not encouraged. No godmodding.
